World famous, Dog Lake. 8450 Ft. Above Sea Level. An ez 2.8 miles up Mill D trail. ( 5.6- 6 round trip). No dogs allowed, it is watershed for Salt Lake City. The Canyon Patrol and Forest Service, do take the rule seriously! Not even in your car on the way up. OK with me, but too bad for Maizy, the Austrailian Shepard alpine hero rescue dog. She always has a flask of whiskey for emergency first aid, when in Mill Creek Canyon.
A pretty day here, still lots of snow late June 2011
